Nuances de Nuit’s first release of 2024 comes courtesy of Liquid Earth, Man/ipulate, Robin Graham and Basement Space.

Theory of Movement is back with more of their distinctive new deep house sounds. This is of course a collaborative project between Dan Piu and Grant and we haven't heard from them since back in 2018. With this latest outing though they remind us of their quality with all shades of classic-sounding house served up with some signature melodies to mark the first release on Grant's new label When the Morning Comes Records. On the back side is a special collaboration with Parbleu that results in some blessed out late-night soul.

Memento Records’ boss Idriss D goes back to his more experimental side on this release, pushing the boundaries like he did on his first Lunatic EP, coming up once again with another Jungle-infused mesmerizing piece of Electronica that mixes breakbeat influences with melodic soulful vibes.A very welcome follow up, aptly titled “Lunatic 2”, this tune is fiercely uptempo and energetic: the psychedelic melody swirls inside, outside and around your mind, while the fluid bass line counterparts the schizophrenic rhythm. On top of this, powerful emotional vocals take you into another dimension.The prestigious remix comes courtesy of Gilb’R, founder of Versatile Records and one half of Chateau Flight: a slower downtempo piece with an infectious, almost improvisational synth melody, with vocals taking center stage here, full of atmospheric sounds all over that land into a deep dreamy break.

After being marooned in a small beach town in Brazil at the start of the pandemic, California-born Gene On Earth eventually made it home to Berlin. As the reality of the global situation sunk in, he set to work on his second album, working in an obsessive daily rhythm. After gathering an arsenal of samples and inspiration he returned to the studio for 5 months of feverish work. Set for release on June 3rd via his own imprint Limousine Dream, ‘Time on The Vine’ is a slick record delivered with the laid-back warmth of a producer at the top of his game. Breezy yet assured, its wonky minimal rhythms are as feel good as they are fun, a perfect antidote to the long and waning pandemic that birthed them.

With acidic arpeggios breathing through your sound system, this is a perfect track to transition into your trancier moments!On the B side, Seo John's 'Circuit of Light' takes listeners on a mid-tempo progressive journey that beautifully blends the elements of acid, techno, and trance. Be sure to fasten your seatbelts for this one!To close out the release, Nvsession delivers an atmospheric journey filled with moody breaks and arpeggios!
