The Jaffa Kid's prolific music-making is well known at this point, with a wide-ranging palette that takes in the full range of electronic genres, from jungle to techno to ambient.But here on his second EP for Gated - appropriately titled Second Frequencies - the boy named after a biscuit (or is it a cake?) goes deep. Really deep.Kicking off with the beatless but driving Phased For Days, the EP has a kind of relentless hypnotism to it, with Trinian's almost 7 minutes of spaced out electro.Flip to the B and the acid comes to the fore, with War On Words and its addictive 303 line pulsing over the Kid's signature pads.Tangential throws in some breaks under gritty acid, and Not The Way rounds out the EP with a truly poignant melodic beatdown.

Following the success of their first release, Amanita Gems is back with another four track sizzler featuring the ever-growing, Ukrainian talent - Victor.B!Roll your sleeves and grab your kicks ‘cause this one is directly inspired by urban grooves and back alley bass-lines with a guarantee to pack a punch and deliver high caliber hip movements on the dance floor.Victor.B is an emerging name from the Ukrainian electronic music scene. His prominence grew locally by dispensing a range of styles that were seamlessly stitched into a gnarly live set - showcasing his vivid taste and ability to possess the room during performances.

The first EP to come out of the Swedish label “The Transient Nature of The Disco Business” (TTNoTDB) is an eclectic affair spanning over the three biggest cities in Sweden, Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm. The artists represented, “Olof Dohnhammar”, “Jo Bubbles” and “Need for Speed” are all bringing their own individual characteristics and charm for this EP which has been curated and tweaked by TTNoTDBs resident-idiot Behrang Mohammadi.
