Excerpts from 1993 - 1995 (Black Vinyl), Facil Prototype 909, re:discovery records, RD009, Electronic Music, Vinyl Records, KMA60 store,

On behalf of re:discovery records, it is with great excitement that we announce the joint compilation from Facil and Prototype 909 called 'Excerpts from 1993-1995.

As most know, Prototype 909 was a legendary acid techno act from New York that toured the circuit as one of the premier rave acts from America during the 1990s.

Facil was a side small duo project that only made one album and a few appearances on a handful of compilations. The A-side features two Facil tracks. 'Tree Frog' has an amazingly robotic ambient dub electro sound. A killer track that will have dancefloor patrons staring at each other with blank wtf faces. '700x7' completes the A-side with ambient dub gem. Floaty and airy melodics balance out a devastating 808 drum beat.

This is ambient dub in the truest example. The b-side then offers
two spacey trance beauties with 'Transit' & 'Planet S' from Prototype 909. The EP finishes with more space junk ambient dub with 'Same

Rave connoisseurs Superlux have once more compiled another fantastic genre-melding release, this time calling on the versatile sounds of Laudrup. The London-based Colombian’s eccentric yet dancefloor-orientated sound sees the talented producer land three originals on the sought-after imprint, alongside a hazy remix from label co-founder and regular, N-Gynn. Laudrup’s ‘Siempre EP’ captures the essence of Superlux, as they maintain their stay at the forefront of the underground, always thinking outside of the box.Opening track “Siempre” is a simmering trip, bubbling synths and splurges of acid create a futuristic and mechanical atmosphere, as crisp drum work maneuvers you through the smoke-filled mornings in the club. “Laura Palmer” consists of wonky drum patterns, leaning towards a more mysterious narrative than its predecessor, meticulously arranged from beginning to end, urging your thoughts to wander. On the flip side is “Untitled 03”, leaving everything to the imagination with pensive broken drums playing the driving force in this track, while a warm and sub-heavy bass works its magic deep within the energy of yet another innovative production from the rising producer. Closing the EP is a deep and emotive encounter with N-Gynn's “Double Drop Remix” of “Siempre”. The six-minute trip swallows you up, sweeping you away into its transcending mood, while intricate details cruise around an elasticated body. Classy rave sounds as always from the UK producer.Laudrup is coming into his element in the foreseeable future with this dynamite release. Not one to be missed!
For our first-ever LP we proudly present INTRO’s “Odyssey Of Shifting Emotions”. A collection of tracks recorded in the 90’s by the Madrid-based legends Francisco & Nacho Sotomayor. Before moving into various musical realms, the pair had been quietly honing their craft for years. Meticulously programming near-perfect drum loops and placing them onto subtle layers of otherworldly synthesis. The music inspires intro-mental journeys yet remains tinged with energy and emotion. These are the sorts of contrast that can be expected on this LP. While clearly sharing certain themes, each track brings its own ideology to the table, allowing this record to humbly fit in your bag on an array of occasions.
“24” is Minuit Machine’s 4th LP.Electronic masterpiece, subtle mix of dark wave, techno and electropop, “24” is both surprising and seductive. Authentic, emotional and powerful, “24” is a real immersion into Minuit machine’s dark, dystopian and futuristic world. Through this LP, Hélène and Amandine are facing all obstacles and disappointments life brings on their way. Each track is a self-affirmation, a rallying cry and an urge to live. The instrumental part is clearly marked and contributes to create the band’s unique sound. The strong beats are a call to dance while the synths, stabbing and emotional, will definitely move you. Finally, the deep basses give the tracks an “EBM” touch. Vocal lines are more pop, with less reverb. They are meant to obsess and stay in your head all day long. They were thought of as a 90's dance music chorus, but with feelings. As usual, the lyrics are very personal and describe several states of mind. Since their creation, Hélène and Amandine kept on reinventing themselves in order to translate their inner questioning and emotions into music. From this point of view, “24” could be Minuit Machine’s most accomplished work since each track sounds like a confession.
