LDDLJ009 welcomes Yuri Ruggieri aka Yu an Italian producer born in Pescara and currently living in Berlin. Occasionally does not harm to sign a young artist based only on the music is making. That's the case of Yuri whose tracks fit perfectly with the vibe and ethos of our label. Expect a magnetic and zesty analog sound blending Electro, Techno and House in a very personal way.

The fourth release from Cartulis Music's sublabel, ALT, is brought to you by the freshly formed French duo known as AV1. This will be the first record of a 2-part series by the newly formed duo under ALT.AV1 is a project helmed by the seasoned producer and DJ, Chris Carrier, who has been making waves in the music scene since the late '90s. Accompanied by Le Loup, another stalwart of the Parisian music scene, this dynamic duo shares a profound passion for acid and classicist house/techno grooves.The EP kicks off with "Light Gate," a mesmerizing, steady techno journey infused with subtle trance elements and harmonious pads that captivate both the mind and the body. The A side follows with "Origins," an effortlessly flowing breakbeat composition adorned with just the right touch of acid, crafting an enigmatic yet inviting ambiance.On the B side, we go deeper with "98% Safe," a dynamic track that seamlessly transitions from euphoric synths and bursts of color to mind-bending acid grooves and ominous undertones. This sonic tapestry is expertly woven together through innovative sampling techniques and a sense of fluidity. Bringing the record to a sublime close is "8 OG," a dreamy electro piece perfectly suited for a multitude of settings, it’s a sonic journey that beckons us to join in and experience it firsthand.

Solo album by Betonkust (Dutch for Concrete Coast). The vinyl comes with a booklet containing drum patterns used on the album, together with a download link of the original samples that you can use for your own music. This record includes a Bandcamp download code for the digital files. Short bio from Betonkust: I was born in Utrecht (1988). I grew up in a very small town somewhere between Amsterdam, Utrecht, and Hilversum. The so-called 'green heart' of the Netherlands. That means there's lots of nature. It was very boring and/or normal. A typical Dutch 1990s upbringing. I've been listening to house music for as long as I can remember. On cassette tapes, on the radio, it was everywhere. Now I live in Rotterdam and there's a lot going on, mainly in the area of electronic music. There is Operator Radio, Clone, Pinkman, etc. Most of my friends are involved in music in some way. The older I get the less I care about gear. I didn't use any expensive or exotic stuff. Korg Electribes (both the sampler and the synth), Korg M1, some Boss effects pedals, a cheap mixer, a Shure SM57 mic, a cheap guitar. For this album everything was recorded in FL Studio. Some tracks on the album started like five years ago with a melody and slowly developed into a full song. Other songs were made one month before mastering. It really depends. But most of the work was done in 2020 and 2021. I think most of this album is about transience, giving up, the infinite sadness of humanity.

French producer, DJ and RDV (Recit de Voyage) label owner returns to the label this April with her ‘Thoughts Of Day’ EP, accompanied by remixes from Giegling’s Koreander and Fred P. Since launching the RDV Music imprint in 2017, Molly has welcomed an array of up-and-coming talent and long-time respected figures in the contemporary house and techno scene onto the imprint, such as Dana Ruh, Cosmin TRG, Wbeeza, Aybee, Orion and many more. Here though, Molly steps into the spotlight herself with a new full-length EP for the label, the vinyl version features two originals and two remixes, while a further two originals will surface as bonus cuts on the digital release. First up on the EP is the original mix of ‘ It Feels Like It Only Goes Backwards’, encapsulating Molly’s signature deep aesthetic via hazy atmospherics and swirling dub textures, floating atop a bouncy sub bass groove and swinging, organic drums. Kettenkarussel member Koreander’s ‘Final Relief Remix’ of ‘It Feels Like It Only Goes Backwards’ follows, offering an ambient twist on the original version, taking the hypnotic elements, and reshaping them into a murky, subtly unfurling six and a half minute beatless interpretation. Next up on the flip side, Fred P reworks ‘Sweet Afternoon’, delivering a typically classy deep house cut driven by a choppy bass line, bright string stabs and crisp, bumpy drums. Molly’s ‘Mercure’ then completes the package, embracing a more groove driven feel as plucked bass notes, swelling subs, mesmerising synth flutters, and swinging drums develop in a subtly nuanced fashion throughout.

Expanding on the blueprint of previous releases, Trieste-born, London-based producer Sohrab is the Kalahari clan’s latest inductee. OYSTER43 is a distillation of the Italian producer’s stylistic scope in its purest form; impeccably crafted dance music with a healthy dose of prog.Running deep with this one. Smartly refined constructions primed for meditative club use, the first four tracks are rendered in pristine detail. From the widescreen and tunnelling to straight-up utopian, there’s a life-affirming vitality like only the most quintessential '90s prog-house can achieve.The record begins to veer into realms of dilated abstraction on the second plate. Where ‘Fleeting Thoughts’ unfurls like a slice of hi-tech IDM undergoing an ayahuasca ceremony, ‘Sunseeker’ and ‘Deconstruct’ keep the ritual going at a lysergic, slo-mo chug. ‘Crystal Clear’, on the other hand, evokes the ‘70s with a bucolic, avant-garde synth lullaby.

Elon Dust’s Sex Tapes From Mars imprint gives Victorious’s 90’s “Play Safe EP” new life, with three remastered house emeralds."All My Love” stands alone on the A-side, and Victorious has successfully bottled the magic of classic house music, delivering a track that strikes brilliance being both timeless and timely. It's a soulful, uplifting affair, sharing an emotive yet slinky journey through rich, sultry vocals and a vintage melody that breaths deep with warmth, swing and euphoria.On the flip, “Can You Feel It” is anchored by dubby, shuffling drums that provide a hypnotic groove, and Victors voice yet again delivers a performance that is as enigmatic as it is intoxicating, layering the track with a sensual, almost haunting allure.A wiggly bassline sets a playful yet driving tone on “Do It To Me”. Spacey synths glide then sweep in, building an atmosphere that is both expansive and intimate, perfectly primed for the after-hours. Each element is carefully placed to serve the groove, making "Do It To Me" a masterclass in restraint. It’s a track designed to move bodies without unnecessary flair, relying on its raw energy and drive to carry the listener. This is house music in its purest, finest and most functional form.
