Big Brother, Eric Spire

For their 9th release, AGT Records is happy to present a highly sought after two-tracker from Eric Spire.
Originally released in 2003 on his own Silver Pearl Records, the ‘Big Brother’ EP provided the perfect blend
of tech house, acid and progressive house that took the US scene by storm.
Each side has its own time and place at the party. The A Side is a peak time percussive workout, with drums
and acid lines flying around the constant pulse of a big old bassline. The B Side is designed for the more
horizontal after-hours, with a psychedelic melody and groove that keeps on swirling round and round and
round.
AGT Records is excited to get this one back onto turntables, all in good time

Bassline technicality and production prowess by Fader Cap on his return to Craigie Knowes. 4 tracks that combine club-sensibilities with width and melody to transcend dancefloors to the outer realms. Echo Chamber provides DJs with a mix of club-focussed beats for all times of the night, strap in.
Bristol’s Remotif makes his highly-awaited debut on space•lab with his wormhole of a new EP, ‘Substation Fever’. Kicking things off on the A side, the title track enters the scene with spacious, organic drums, building in energy as we tunnel through its course; travelling from the cool, oxygenated air of a forest-scape into dazzling, far-reaching intergalactic realms.Next up, ‘Substation Fever’ gets a dreamy reimagining courtesy of Leeds legend and space•lab regular, Adam Pits. Channelling the energy of Remotif’s original into a hazy, blissed-out cloudscape, this track was made for accompanying early morning sunrises where orange-hued dashes of light reflect off the surface of gently rippling water. On the flip side, ‘Hi Tek Lo Life’, crackles with the fluctuating electrical impulses of a TV without signal or a radio between channels. Flecked with corroded vocal samples and billowing synthlines, this is a track that explores the inbetween - the moment when connection is almost lost, but not quite. There is a beauty in the roughened-edges of these partially obscured details. The final track of the EP, ‘The Signal Prevails’ is perhaps an answer to its precursor. Opening out onto trip-hop-esque terrain, this track follows the path set out by a blurred-out, echoing vocal as it deftly works its way through narrow, winding pathways of powerful 90s-style breaks.A much-loved DJ regularly making an appearance on space•lab’s lineups, we are delighted to now showcase Remotif’s skill in the studio with this mind-opening new EP.

After his successful debut the spanish producer Nuclear Waste returns for the second release on Impakto Records, the Unusual Systems subdivision focused on early/mid 90s underground club/warehouse music sounds: techno, trance, acid, bleeps, breaks...A side contains two dancefloor nuclear weapons. "Nuclear Acid" with cured killer 303 basslines, sonic bleeps and chaotic sampled vocals to rave the world. "Pastillas de Freno" Fat bass and bleeps on this one with craziest spanish sampled vocals, remind us to the Sheffield's bleep techno golden era with an electro touch."Living in the junk" opening the B side with 80's drums, an eclectic arpeggiated melody and reverberated bleeps. "Goodbye" close this killer EP with electro to techno drum patterns changes and spacy bleeps.Limited copies. Don't miss this one
The bermuda triangle of Berlin; a meeting of medicinal minds for the inaugural splitstep. Byron Yeates, Roza Terenzi & D, Tiffany come Tag-teaming and steaming with licks of flirty tech, hard house, pumping prog and sleek, freaky techno bouncing off the walls. A true melting pot of deeply burrowed memories of dance, the trio collaborate in various ways to propel a new age wave of dance music; a delicious mix of rough, tough and playfully feminine which embodies Step Ball Chain.Cheers queers!Gushing all over the A Side with a funk force of tech house, Roza Terenzi sticks her heels in and locks down The GrooveTM like no other, reduced tempo for the calm before the storm. Warming up the original just in time for the Byron Yeates remix; providing a stripped back, sped up, jacking rendition of Gush served hot and heavy. Bouncing into the B side, Byron causes the heat to rise to the top, Cauldron of Chaos simmering and ready to blow, use with caution. Rounding out this seriously hot record is Roza & D. Tiff with a tech leaning team up, Prude Pride hitting all the right spots for a manifested meltdown.4 Club certified hitz, guaranteed to make you sweat. Don’t you dare sleep!
