DE RIO 001 is the first release of the collective from Florence ‘DE RIO’ as a newborn label.The record is a V/A born and conceived in 2021 featuring three banging dj-tool tracks from DE RIO’s residents. The sound and stylistic research of each artist is shown in different sides of techno music: on the A-side we find ‘Climax’ by Abo, a trance-y, progressive, acid track, mixing glitched sounds and acid basslines, evolving and turning into continuous and frenetic drops; TOMO then delivers breaks and Detroit stabs in ‘Banagalore’, a big-hitting-kick, percussive and warehouse-oriented track. The Ep is closed on the B-side with ‘Red Dial’ by Plastique01: a solid 90’s rhythm with a dreamy and romantic pad giving life to a 145 BPM proper techno track.Tracks written and produced by Daniele Carcassi, Tommaso Andorlini, Giulio Da Rin. For the second release we have four unreleased tracks made between 1994 to 1996 at Alien Recording studio in London from duo PAN-TONE (Alec Stone & Andy panayi). Best friends for over 35 years, both had a passion for making their own style of music and getting out it to the people around the world. Sadly passed away, Andy has been a very big font of inspiration for us, we are proud to release these four housey tracks from the past to all of you.

A remarkable one-off tribute to the drummer behind the most sampled break of all time, Clyde Stubblefield, this 7” goes straight for the glitchy jugular, cutting up Stubblefield’s breaks from his time with James Brown into a blizzard of rhythmically complex, tightly programmed IDM, underpinned by deep, dark sub-bass.Stubblefield passed away in 2017, but his legacy lives on through numerous tracks that sampled his work across genres like hip hop, jungle, and, well, more or less every other genre. Most were uncredited and he wasn’t paid for his contributions.German artist SELEKTOR55 wanted to pay tribute to Stubblefield in the most respectful way possible, and what better than a 7” created to reproduce the look and feel of a 1970s funk 45?For Clyde’s four tracks bleed into each other, the intricate breaks and beats almost jumping off the needle. Crucially, as experimental as this is, SELEKTOR55 retains the funk, giving Stubblefield a fitting tribute from an IDM master.This is a vinyl-only release. 155 hand-stamped and hand-numbered copies. There will be no digital.

Odd Pleasures presents: Another Phunky Story by Franco Motta. The first Vinyl-Only release of the iconic Miami-based label brings a blend of minimal and house infused with jazzy chords and glitchy atmospheres. Three original tracks made for different moments of the night coexist through homogeneous sounds and arrangements. To close the EP, the Argentinian legend Franco Cinelli delivered a trippy re-interpretarion of the phunkiest track.

Childhood Intelligence’s 18th release by ADSR aka. Todd Nickolas & Dominic Paterson from Toronto, Canada. The 2x12” album presents mostly tracks written and produced by Todd, with A1/D1 being in collaboration with Paterson. The end result is a versatile one, with “Passive Articulation” presenting abstract Techno - House - Electro visions, and fusing all the elements of vintage Intelligent Dance Music that we cherish so much: warm basslines, beautiful chord progressions, diverse and surprising arrangements infused with haunting melodies, hypnotic cyber sounds, detached vocal cuts and dubbed percussion.…Overall fresh & timeless classiness for the present, past & future.Recorded various locations New Hamburg, Kitchener-Waterloo, Ottawa, Toronto, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
