Third iteration in OEW’s VA series, WITNESS03 brings over a fresh new quartet of heaters from another of its carefully curated cast of up-and-rising producers. Delving in the vaults of 90s rave, and spanning all things from atmospheric techno to spine-tingling bass, via electro, acid and further afield electronics.Engaging first, CLJL flings a brick of breaksy sedition into the matrix with the mighty “System Research”. Fusing 303-emulated traction with jaw-crushing freq shifts, ruff snares and fluttering synth spirals gone astray, this one is pure woofer-busting material. Second in line, Naone “Silhouette” is an aggressive slice of dopey, bass-heavy cosmonautics, tailored to have the listener zoning out into a magnetic field of alien echoes, delays and reverbs.Flip sides and here is LVCA and Sidd taking over your brainwaves with “Stranger” - a squelchy joint connecting the dots between Bochum Weltian spaciousness, pop-laced ethereality and a propulsive programming bound to astral project yourself into a whole other dimension. Last but not least, N-GYNN’s “Fire Rave” engineers a jagged and easy-going carnival of funkster machine talk, weird organic noises and sleazy boogie.

The first EP to come out of the Swedish label “The Transient Nature of The Disco Business” (TTNoTDB) is an eclectic affair spanning over the three biggest cities in Sweden, Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm. The artists represented, “Olof Dohnhammar”, “Jo Bubbles” and “Need for Speed” are all bringing their own individual characteristics and charm for this EP which has been curated and tweaked by TTNoTDBs resident-idiot Behrang Mohammadi. Listen Festival presents their very first compilation album.This 12-header unites all Belgium-based producers. Much like the festival, the album unites a wide spectrum of electronic music on a double gate-folded release. This way it sketches a profile of the diversity that characterizes The Brussels’ electronic music scene and makes it flourish.

Wolves-based duo TC4 have been working it for some time now, dropping their first 12" back in 2013 and continuing to push a sprightly speed garage sound that spells instant good times. This self-titled label sees them back on the case with four good time joints that make great use of RnB samples, chirpy piano chords and beats with all the bump. 'Feels' has more of a deep house vibe, 'Gold Teeth' takes it straight to classic UKG territory, but without fail all these jams swing tuff and bring enough heat to set a pool party on fire.
