Introducing Tread Records, a fresh new imprint from London.Taking the reins for the debut release is the unique Guava, whose previous releases on labels such as R&S and Holding Hands, has made him one of the big names to watch in the leftfield electronic world. Collaborating on the release are two of London’s finest session guitarists, Alex Blake and Leo Abrahams. Their impressive CVs include work with artists such as Jon Hopkins and Skepta, respectively.Things open up with ‘In Cloud’, a blissed-out slab of broken techno, spaced out with guitar riffs played by Blake. Both ‘Libelle’ and ‘Equinox Meaning’ continue on this theme with a cut of bass weight with more silky guitar, performed by Abrahams, on the latter. Dublin-based Sputnik One is on remix duties, turning ‘Libelle’ into a beefed-up club weapon fit for any sound system.

Frappé, the label to follow in 2021, supported by Laurent GARNIER who has recently said about them: “This label is on fire …. Looove the hard party vibe from the whole thing, and also love the cheekiness of some tracks. With tracks with huge samples from CHANGE, to tracks with obvious influence from “St Germain” …These guys know the score…”The French label is already making a strong comeback with a fourth release: a pure House Music-infused Various Artists EP. Each of the 5 tracks explores a different aspect of what makes the House music sound of today, and yesterday, keeping intact the very Frenchy and dancefloor DNA of the label. Once more, Frappé is bringing together artists coming from different backgrounds, putting on a same record Lo-fi, Jazzy, Garage and French Touch influences.Frappé is collaborating for the first time with a non-French artist and has picked a rising star of the electronic music scene in the person of northern-Irish producer Mark Blair. For the young prodigy, this is also his first release on vinyl, likely to make “French Kiff” a collectable item on Discogs soon! He is making his mark on this wax with “Tropicana”, a track as simple as it is efficient on which house chords are supporting a warm and sensual trumpet riff. All this is made in the lo-fi fashion which is his signature sound.The release features also great tracks from Naux, Groove Boys Project, and the label owners : Basile de Suresnes and Ten Fingerz.

Chat Noir Rec. Is the official imprint of Chat Noir Distribution and will be dedicated to all shades of house music. Our debut EP is a various artists featuring young and promising french producers we want to highlight. On the A side Jeff The Fool & Wilt present « All I Need » a strong piece of deep-house tailored for the dancefloor. Botwin is up next with « Agostic ». The corsican duo Solär Sound Sytem opens the B side with B16P15. With his track « Blind Resistance », NairLess is closing this EP really nicely with some breakbeat and an acid bassline which will be really effective on any dancefloor.

'Sceptic' is the first EP from the French label Suborder, featuring 3 tracks produced by Electro producer NGA. With this first release, NGA wants to put France on the Electro Map. Each track mixes classic 808 drums and Electro basslines with melancholic keyboards patterns.

True to his signature refined melodic touch and airy 4x4 architectonics, Youandewan’s version has us embarking for a proper deep, exhilarating ride across bumpy time warps and oddly familiar parallel universes.
