Pétrole are back with a new « club music » oriented project on wax featuring 2 French producers : Yann Polewka & Da Growch. They first met each other at Dimensions Festival in Croatia, they keep in touch after that and finally decided to produce an EP together. Seduced by this story and convinced that house music knows no borders, Pétrole label has decided to make « Common Dimension » its 9th release.

Fastforward 2023, back on the highway with four twisted tracks from Rupert Marnie. The Hamburg based producer with a weakness for spicy japanese food and science fiction novels is part of The Press Group label and Remoto Recordshop, which both has been close to the LV musical mind and hearts – delivers the stuff we want to play with. Fail we may, sail we must.
Next up on EYA's series Lonewolf is UK producer Nay. "Pattern of Thought" takes us on a hallucinatory excursion into deep minimal textures, acid-tingled beats, blissful grooves and dubby trips. A remarkable debut from an artist we'll be hearing a lot about in the future on a label capable of consistently delivering the fresh, cutting-edge sound of the underground.
Die Orakel long time collaborator Edward gracefully reappears with a three track emission called Time Stretch. Edward’s appliance of the titular technique is not restricted to various sonic elements at all, as it extends to the tracks’ mental notes and their trajectories beyond the digital realm.Time Stretch fills the entire side A with vibrant sonic elements, a warm bassline along an eerie pad, all on top of a straight and punchy bass drum. La Grotta’s signature melody, plus chirps and cowbells, inject a slight touch of exotica to the musical meta-data, while time stretch artefacts refer back to a befittingly themed EP. Finally, the undercurrents of Black Sea evolve along a modulated melodic pad, a pulsating bass and beat structure, and a light 90s IDM morse figure on top of frequency sweeps.
Communique Records USA, reactivated the superb house-sublabel Sensuist Records!Soon in the rebound: SEN006 by Chris Brann also known as part of famous Wamdue Kids! The first re-issue since 1997 will be available on solid 180 Gramm vinyl.Recorded from original DAT and re-mastered.
Gamine strikes back with the fourth release, this time by Signal Corps, a duo consisting of Tom Butcher and Mike Perkowitz. Stepping between the nicer side of electro and punchy new beat, this solid five-tracker is a serious tool for dancefloors and afterhours. Groovy rhythmic arps and beautiful acidic melodies are combined to produce the perfect blend between old-school flavour and contemporary effectiveness.Resurfacing a precious gem released back in 2013, we once again make justice by pressing it into pristine 12” polyvinyl glory. Enjoy!
