Lacking no celerity in its approach to dancefloor traction, the second incursion on STRCTR from Paris-based rising talent Vitess is primed to slap a smile on the face of 90s breaks, electroid techno dashers and pumped-up trance lovers. Following up to releases on Happiness Therapy, Pulse Msc and Chat Noir Tools, Vitess is bound to break the sound barrier with “Splitter” - a no-frills four-tracker featuring two originals + two remixes designed to bulldoze its way onto upper spheres of consciousness with absolute panache and determination.
After being marooned in a small beach town in Brazil at the start of the pandemic, California-born Gene On Earth eventually made it home to Berlin. As the reality of the global situation sunk in, he set to work on his second album, working in an obsessive daily rhythm. After gathering an arsenal of samples and inspiration he returned to the studio for 5 months of feverish work. Set for release on June 3rd via his own imprint Limousine Dream, ‘Time on The Vine’ is a slick record delivered with the laid-back warmth of a producer at the top of his game. Breezy yet assured, its wonky minimal rhythms are as feel good as they are fun, a perfect antidote to the long and waning pandemic that birthed them.
Taslo, an emerging name in contemporary house music, presents the inaugural release on his own ‘Groove Concept’ imprint; ‘Backshift EP’. Showcasing an effective fusion of rounded timbres and body-rocking rhythms, this red-hot four-tracker is poised for sustained club usage.‘Swop Shop’ kicks things off in compelling style with a coalition of propulsive drums and punchy bass. The swing setting gets ramped up for ‘Basic Principles’, where shuffling percussion and brawny resonances give way to a more explosive trajectory. No momentum is lost over on the B-side, where ‘Globule’ sets in motion a sequence of pointed stabs and sub-bass jabs, resulting in a hypnotic groove that persists in its charm. The joint concludes with ‘Side Burner’, as the dynamic eases and languid, shimmering harmonies rise to the fore.Bona fide groovers for the dance floor and beyond…
Hearing Colours is pleased to present their fifth EP, engineered by the master heads behind Melcure, the iconic duo, Felipe Valenzuela and Dani Casarano. These guys return with, "Under My Skin", showing us a touch of punk, techno and early uk tech house all mixed into one main idea. This hybrid saw the light after one of their latest, but few, studio interactions. The 3 cuts were designed on the same day and composed mostly with a MPC, an unusual system in their classic setup. This approach has given their sound a new twist which is presented uniquely on this EP.

Floating above the clouds you’ll find some extra silky producers making their beats. Specialising in smooth, sunshine coated dancefloor flavours; they are individuals who like to put a smile on your face and make you feel warm inside.
