Chat Noir Tools continues to dig into the new scene to put the light on up & coming producers.For our first release of 2023 we're thrilled to introduce parisian DJ & producer Lungo!His Game Over EP is a four tracker inspired by the retro-gaming universe and crafted for a heavy dancefloor use.

From its beginnings as a reissue label, Spray has always been guided by an insatiable appetite for proggy dance music. If excavating long-forgotten gems weren’t enough though, the Irishman behind it all emerged from the fever dream that was lockdown a fully-realised producer/DJ entity. Also taking the name for his alias, Spray comes forth with a typically fractal offering.Insistent throb and propulsive, direct drive underpin the A-side. Where ’VT Trad’ opts for nebulous, cosmic detail and shadowy flex, ‘Q3projz’ surfaces a more utopian take on the blueprint.‘Zippycher’ then comes flush with wide-eyed radiance; a buoyant, lysergic rite primed for collective physical experience. ‘Slipped’, on the other hand, recalls early ‘90s Art Of Trance while sidestepping revivalist tags. Proper third portal business.

It's been a while but the sharpened Label from Marseille is back for his second release : the Brawshleter EP .This various hosts 4 tracks from 3 members of the D-Mood Squad and offers a nice trip around their universe.FACE A is dedicated to KUMANOPE : A1/GLITTERING WOODS & A2/BREAK OF DAWN : two trippy tracks with jungle rhythmic signatures and chopped-reworked breaks everywhere. A well-known sample used with class coupled with a perfect ambient and vapored atmosphere which will bring you back for sure to the UK of 90'.FACE B starts with a Dancefloor Friendly weapon by JOZ. B1/DON BREAK is a techy track with minimalists fx, dubby and delayed chords, breaks samples and an acid bass line to spice up the whole thing!SUAVE occupies the end of the release with B2/LA MADONNE. A trip into the suavity and the deepness of this track is perfect to start the night or to let the dancefloor breath in the middle of it ! Exhilarating melody and endless acid bass line are the main ingredients of this little beauty made with love in our missed studio !

French-Persian producer and composer Parviz is back on FHUO Records with a new release, aptly named « The Sky Of Orange Whispers ». There’s an eerie, sun-setting glow to the whole opus; a high-octane, funk-heavy 12" that wavers between joie-de-vivre and melancholy.Case in point, the light-hearted lyrics of the self-titled track, reminiscent of Greenwich Village's glorious days, counterbalanced by the languorous melodies of the trumpet and electric piano. Heavyweight jazz-funk riffs and infectious syncopes set the ball rolling, only for subtler arrangements and buoyant harmonies to take over and win our hearts. Once the tempo slows down, a scent of spring fills in the air, and a stunning sky of deep vermilion colors takes shape before our very eyes.
