The Best Of Brawther Vol. 1,Brawther, Back To Life, BTL016, Electronic Music, Vinyl Records, KMA60 store,

If you say Brawther you mean trip, like the cities he lived in (Paris, Leeds, Lisbon) and the countries where his DJ's sets have been (Sweden, Japan, UK). Back To Life with this collection wants to propose a journey, with music. Directly from one of his first productions on My Love Is Underground, "Don't Go" has been defined: "a very dark track with violent beats that can be used in a hard deep house or
strong techno set! Very good use of vocals with a sensual female voice.""Negentropy" is perfect for club use. Someone says: "the kinda Deep gem that plays in your head for weeks."Last but not least "VXVXVX" taken from the Balance label is a true classic of the modern
deephouse.

Following the success of their first release, Leeds-based label On Rotation returns with a 4-track EP from Australian producer Solar Suite. Expanding on the contemporary style of his debut release on Echocentric Records, the Slingshot EP shows off his ability to inject groove and a sense of fun into a trippy, compelling framework.Joining him on the remix is fellow Aussie and Step Ball Chain label head Roza Terenzi, twisting the title track into a dark and brooding peak time stomper.“This EP was written throughout Melbourne's 2020 lockdown, what seems like an eternity ago... In hindsight, it provided me with the perfect opportunity to grow and learn as a producer.Finding the motivation and drive to write and finish these tracks was a definite challenge, but overall something I am very proud of and ecstatic to have the opportunity to be working with Adam, Marlon, Chris and Katie to bring this to life.”This marks the second release for On Rotation, the party turned label headed by Chris I’Anson, Lisene & Adam Pits. “We’re hyped to have Solar Suite on the label for our second release and excited to share what we have in store for the future of the label. Once again the artwork has been done by the amazing Bristol based Illustrator Patch D Keyes.” - Chris
Jose Guerrero aka Telomante lives in Valencia where he runs the label Mascarpone Discos. A prolific producer, he is running multiple projects such as Sentuhlà on Abstrakce Records or Rastrejo on his own label. Codantera is a contemplative stroll through soundscapes that leave a lot of space for improvisation, where harmonic fields and abrupt experimentations meet on the same level. The sonic warmth and the strength that emanates from it make this album a jewel of minimalist electronic music. “One could find orientation and support in the past of German electronic music, from 1975 to 1985, that is just as timeless, because courageous. Let us remember Cluster, Möebius and Rodelius or Conrad Schnitzler [...] this music speaks of beauty and the idea of a better world.” (Detlef Weinrich, Tolouse Low Trax).
Our fourth release follows the ebb and flow of a night out in a strange mood. For starters, guided by the concerned voice of Query D, we turn a few corners and go to the local 24h store to pick up some Night Shop Gold, aka the best midnight snack, a samosa. After that we do some Doomstrolling to a tune that invites us to indulge in the night’s pleasures, absently grinning through it’s darkest hours. When the sun comes up again, The Sleepless rounds out the EP for all the insomniacs out there, with some reflections on the dangers of sleep deprivation set to a melancholy beat.
Digregorius returns to My Own Jupiter for MOJ15.
Salt Mines welcomes newcomer Zara to the family with an EP inspired by the sounds, colours and textures of festivals in the Australian bush. With this record Zara debuts a musical style that is de􀀁ned in its identity yet de􀀁es categorisation.
Our second sound-clash instalment sees Panix lock heads with Dj Snowy Buffet.Based out of South London, Panix made a name for himself in the dubstep scene, before emerging as one of the most exciting producers of UKG and breaks. The A1, "Premium Dubz" combines moody bass-lines with ravey stabs to make the ultimate 2-step dance floor killer. The A2, "Hefty" does exactly what it says on the tin.. Hefty basslines and squeaky clean 4 to the floor drums.Dj Snowy Buffet is another veteran of the dubstep game, producing under the well known WZ. Surfacing as his new alias, the Czechoslovakian producer shows depth to his game with a bouncy UKG sound. The B1, "Can I Tell" provides skippy garage drums and synths certain to light up any set. The B2, "Club Life" showcases the darker side of UKG, with warping basslines and amen breaks.
